TPC San Antonio is an interesting course on the PGA Tour, in that its primary defense is wind and that features the very clear inputs of Greg Norman designs. There aren’t specific players who do well here, but you certainly don’t have to be a long hitter, or even a great putter. Ballstrikers do well here.

Si Woo Kim feels like a somewhat obvious play given the year he’s had and the kind of player — elite ballstriker — that he is.

Marco Penge is still at great odds, and I’m going to keep betting him until it looks ridiculous based on overall form.

Johnny Keefer figured out something in Houston, and he clearly likes the home cooking of Texas golf above Florida golf. He says he’s gotten some things fixed with the putter.
