Power Metallic Mines Inc (TSX-V:PNPN, FRA:IVV1, OTCQB:PNPNF) has reported additional assay results from its winter 2026 drill program, highlighting continued high-grade copper-equivalent intersections at its Lion Zone at its polymetallic Nisk project in Quebec, as the company advances toward a planned mineral resource estimate later this year.

The company said infill drilling across approximately 200 metres of strike length is helping define the core and western extent of the Lion Zone at a depth of roughly 100 metres below surface. The work is intended to support an indicated resource classification and assess the potential for open-pit development.

Among the latest results, hole PML-26-094 intersected 17.45 metres grading 9.47% copper equivalent, including 6.3 metres at 17.91%.

Another hole, PML-26-101, returned a wider interval of 39 metres at 5.66% copper equivalent, including 9.20 metres grading 15.18%.

At the western edge of the zone, hole PML-26-104 intersected 7.4 metres at 1.07% copper equivalent, broadly aligning with the company’s geological model.

Power Metallic said the results continue to support its interpretation of the Lion Zone based on earlier, more widely spaced drilling, reinforcing the presence of near-surface, high-grade mineralization.

The company added that further assay results from both the resource drilling and regional exploration programs are expected in the coming weeks.

Exploratory drilling between the Lion and Tiger zones did not return wide mineralized intervals, though narrower zones encountered in one hole suggest mineralizing structures may extend across the area.

“The heart of Lion continues to deliver impressive results. Both of these holes would have broken into our top six holes at the Lion Zone,” Power Metallic CEO Terry Lynch said in a statement.

“We continue to build towards what we believe will be a very positive Mineral Resource Estimate in third quarter of this year.”

Shares of Power Metallic were up around 4.3% in Toronto on Monday.
