Kiyosaki warns of ‘boomer retirement disaster’
Kiyosaki wrote a long X post on May 5 in which he warned of a retirement disaster for the “Baby Boomers.”
This generation is defined as people born from 1946 to 1964 who experienced economic prosperity and rapid technological progress during the peak of their lives.
But the boomers are now retiring, and they are going to face what Kiyosaki called a retirement disaster. He even claimed that he foresaw the phenomenon as soon as 1974.
Millions of boomers will retire this year, only to end up in financial trouble or even homelessness, he warned.
He also referred to two of his books that he said he wrote to help the boomer generation prepare for this time.
“Retire Young Retire Rich” is about Kiyosaki and his wife’s journey to retiring in less than 10 years and living a financially stable life. It makes the case for how a context shift in the way people think about money and investing allows them to see opportunities others miss.
“Who Stole My Pension?” offers guidance, resources, and tools to plan their pension funds. Boomers could be too frail to work but too poor to retire, but it could become the new normal for several people. In this book, the author offers advice on pension management and investment to avoid such a crisis.
Those who have read these books are prepared for the crisis and those concerned should pick up these books, Kiyosaki claimed, but added,
“Wall Street does not like these books.”
The global economy is going to be rough, he warned, but recommended four assets as the foundation of a financial future.
These are assets which the author has recommended oftentimes to his followers. Gold, silver, Bitcoin (BTC), and Ethereum (ETH) are Kiyosaki’s recommendations.
