Insiders Sold EQL Pharma At kr52.22, Meanwhile Stock Sits Near kr25.30

Despite the fact that EQL Pharma AB (publ)’s (STO:EQL) value has dropped 10% in the last week insiders who sold kr1.3m worth of stock in the past 12 months have had less success. Insiders might have been better off holding onto their shares, given that the average selling price of kr52.22 is still below the current share price.
While insider transactions are not the most important thing when it comes to long-term investing, we would consider it foolish to ignore insider transactions altogether.
EQL Pharma Insider Transactions Over The Last Year
In the last twelve months, the biggest single sale by an insider was when the President & CEO, Axel Schorling, sold kr1.2m worth of shares at a price of kr51.30 per share. We generally don’t like to see insider selling, but the lower the sale price, the more it concerns us. It’s of some comfort that this sale was conducted at a price well above the current share price, which is kr25.30. So it is hard to draw any strong conclusion from it.

So What Do The EQL Pharma Insider Transactions Indicate?
It doesn’t really mean much that no insider has traded EQL Pharma shares in the last quarter. We don’t take much encouragement from the transactions by EQL Pharma insiders.
