Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong announced plans to explore linking the ASEAN Single Window with the US to facilitate electronic trade document exchange ahead of Singapore’s ASEAN chairmanship in 2027. The US maintained a trade surplus with Singapore exceeding $41.8b in 2025, with over 250 Singapore companies operating across 45 US states.
Late-stage Funding Captures 77.5% of Singapore’s Tech Funding in August
Singapore’s tech funding reached $864m in August, rising 693.8% year-on-year despite an 81.36% month-on-month decline, according to Tracxn. Late-stage funding accounted for 77.5% of total tech funding, a significant shift from zero late-stage funding recorded in August 2025.
