Stockholm stocks track global markets higher, OMXS30 index gains 0.3 percent

The Stockholm Stock Exchange is rising on Tuesday, supported by gains in international markets. Sentiment is bolstered by hopes that peace talks between the US and Iran may resume. Oil prices are retreating today by approximately 0.3 percent.

At around 12:40 PM, the OMXS30 index was up 0.33 percent at 3,112.87. Shares worth approximately 6.0 billion kronor had changed hands on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.

Among the major industrial sectors, technology saw the best performance with a 1.5 percent advance. Real estate also performed strongly, rising 1.4 percent. At the other end of the scale, energy lagged at the bottom, down 1.9 percent.

Among the leading shares included in the OMXS30 index, Addtech B rose 1.8 percent while Atlas Copco A gained 1.5 percent. The weakest performers were Saab B, down 1.4 percent, and Telia, which fell 1.3 percent.

From the earnings season, which is still in its early stages, it is noted that Avarda Bank reported results in line with expectations for the first quarter. Operating profit landed at 245 million kronor against an expected 248 million kronor. Revenue of 827 million kronor was also in line with consensus. The stock fell 4 percent.

IT company Carasent, which provides electronic health record systems, reported increased revenue in the first quarter of 2026 compared to the same period last year. Operating profit showed a turnaround to a profit of 1.6 million kronor. The stock retreated 6.8 percent.

Pattern generator manufacturer Mycronic received an order for a customized SLX mask writer from a new customer, valued at 27-30 million dollars, corresponding to 248-275 million kronor. The stock rose 3.5 percent.

E-commerce company Cheffelo issued a trading update for the first quarter. Net sales rose by 11 percent to 375 million kronor. The number of active customers increased by 7 percent to 92,900. The stock fell 5.3 percent.

The board of platform company Upsales is proposing a distribution of shares in the subsidiary AI Revenue Assistant Software, Aira, to shareholders to facilitate a planned separate listing. At the same time, Upsales expects a significant improvement in profitability during the current year, with an EBITDA margin exceeding 35 percent on an annualized basis starting from the second quarter of 2026. The stock rose over 18 percent.

Technology company Advenica has secured a four-year agreement with a Swedish total defense authority worth 230 million kronor. The assignment involves the continued development of an encryption product, with deliveries occurring continuously through the fourth quarter of 2029. The stock surged 20.6 percent.

On the analyst front, Danske Bank has upgraded HMS Networks to buy from hold, with a target price of 515 kronor. The stock rose 2.4 percent.

Private equity firm EQT remained unchanged. Citigroup dropped its buy recommendation and downgraded the stock to neutral.
