Guardians for New Futures to host 2026 Treasure Coast Child Summit | St. Lucie County
FORT PIERCE — Guardians for New Futures, Inc. (GFNF4Kids) will host the 2026 Treasure Coast Child Summit on September 23–24, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day at the Indian River State College Public Safety Training Complex, Bailey Auditorium, 4600 Kirby Loop Road, Fort Pierce.
Recognized as one of the Treasure Coast’s premier child protection conferences, the Summit will bring together approximately 300 professionals, community leaders, and advocates to address current issues impacting children and youth. Thanks to community sponsors, attendance is free, including lunch, and eligible participants will receive free Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and certificates of completion.
This year’s program features nationally recognized experts presenting on child exploitation, autism spectrum disorder, youth mental health, artificial intelligence, gaming, online pornography, digital safety, and emerging threats affecting children. Featured speakers include Marion County Sheriff Billy Woods, who will discuss “Operation Fool Around and Find Out,” the operation that led to the arrest of 58 child predators, along with a Sheriff’s Panel addressing current trends in child exploitation and community safety.
The Summit is designed for professionals and community members who work with or advocate for children, including educators, healthcare providers, law enforcement, child welfare professionals, mental health providers, attorneys, judges, social workers, prevention specialists, parents, foster parents, and faith leaders.
