Lion highlights recovery for Power Metallic

Power Metallic Mines (TSX-V:PNPN) says its Lion Zone holds potential to be bolstered with sulphide concentrate recovery methods after assessing a series of microscopic scans of the project.
Samples were collected from five drillholes to test the down plunge extent as well as looking into an off-hole anomaly first detected in an electromagnetic survey.
IOS Geosciences has been involved to perform the scans for 100 samples, determining potential recovery and better understand copper and platinum group elements mineralisation at the deposit.
Power Metallic expects to finish mineralogy testing in the coming weeks before commencing with metallurgical testing to evaluate the Lion deposit’s optimal recovery method.
The company has marked 8km of strike across its winter drilling campaign, targeting the Lion Zone, Nisk Zone, Nisk East Zone, and Tiger Zone.
This program returned intercepts including 1.95m @ 13.54 grams per tonne gold, 236.6g/t silver, 1.08% copper, 0.21% nickel, and 0.21g/t palladium from drillhole PN-25-096 within the ultra mafic layered intrusion.
Power Metallic Mines is an explorer focusing on the development of its Silver Nisk Project into becoming Canada’s next polymetallic mine.
