Bitcoin ETFs Ended Three-Week Streak of Inflows with $463M in Outflows

  • Spot bitcoin ETFs in the US recorded $462.73 million in outflows after three weeks of inflows.
  • Ethereum ETFs attracted $197.11 million, extending the positive trend for a fourth consecutive week.
  • Among altcoin funds, XRP ETFs saw the largest inflows — $18.98 million — while HYPE ETFs posted $26.42 million in outflows.

Between September 8 and September 11, 2026, spot bitcoin ETFs in the US recorded total capital outflows of $462.73 million, according to SoSoValue data. This ended the sector’s three-week streak of inflows. Meanwhile, Ethereum ETFs continued to attract capital, closing a fourth consecutive week in positive territory.

Bitcoin ETFs Lost $463 Million

Across four trading sessions, spot bitcoin ETFs lost $462.73 million. Outflows were recorded on each day:

  • September 8 — $46.65 million
  • September 9 — $120.24 million
  • September 10 — $282.56 million
  • September 11 — $13.29 million

The largest outflow came on September 10 — $282.56 million. The day before, investors pulled another $120.24 million.

The biggest outflows over the reporting period came from ARKB by ARK Invest/21Shares — $234.24 million. The second-largest outflow was from GBTC by Grayscale — $129.11 million.

Other funds that also posted negative flows included:

  • IBIT by BlackRock — $52.57 million
  • FBTC by Fidelity — $50.6 million
  • HODL by VanEck — $13.09 million
  • BTCO by Invesco Galaxy — $4.68 million.

At the same time, several funds attracted fresh capital. The largest inflow was recorded by MSBT from Morgan Stanley — $19.65 million, while BITB from Bitwise brought in $1.91 million.

Grayscale’s BTC ended its streak of zero capital movement. BRRR, EZBC, and BTCW also recorded no inflows or outflows.

Ethereum ETFs Attracted $197 million for the Fourth Week in a Row

Unlike bitcoin funds, the spot Ethereum ETF segment maintained positive momentum. Over four trading sessions, it brought in $197.11 million, marking the fourth consecutive week of capital inflows.

The day-by-day breakdown was as follows:

  • September 8 — an outflow of $24.29 million
  • September 9 — $34.75 million
  • September 10 — an outflow of $29.76 million
  • September 11 — $216.41 million

The main driver of the result was September 11, when Ethereum ETFs attracted $216.41 million. This offset the combined outflows from the previous trading sessions.

The leader by inflows was BlackRock’s ETHA — $139.94 million. ETHB brought in $55.2 million, and ETHW — $29.09 million.

Positive dynamics were also posted by:

  • ETHV — $3.71 million
  • TETH — $2.1 million

At the same time, investors pulled $17.29 million from Grayscale’s ETHE, $11.78 million from ETH, and $3.87 million from Fidelity’s FETH.

EZET, MSSE, and QETH ended the reporting period with no capital movement.

XRP ETFs Attracted Nearly $19 million

Among other crypto exchange-traded funds, XRP ETFs recorded the largest inflow for the reporting period — $18.98 million.

At the same time, HYPE-ETF posted the largest outflow among altcoin funds — $26.42 million.

BNB-, DOGE-, LTC-, and AVAX-ETFs ended the reporting period with no capital flows.

Separately, on September 10, spot TRX-ETFs debuted on the U.S. market, but they recorded no fund flows during the reporting period.

In the Hong Kong market, spot SOL-ETFs saw inflows of 511.49 SOL.

Recall that the previous week, spot bitcoin ETFs attracted $986.85 million, while Ethereum-ETFs received $218.41 million.
