Power Metallic strengthens leadership with VP Operations hire

Power Metallic Mines (TSX-V:PNPN) has announced the appointment of Christopher Beal as Vice President of Operations.
Beal brings more than 15 years’ mining industry experience to the role, having served as CEO of NextOre since 2017, where he has worked across mining operations, technology commercialisation, corporate development, and capital markets.
As CEO of NextOre, Beal successfully built and scaled the company into a supplier of bulk mineralogical analysers and sorting equipment using magnetic resonance technology. He also helped raise C$17.9 million ($18.2 million) across four funding rounds, growing the company’s market capitalisation from C$0 to C$131 million and securing key operational contracts across Australia, the Philippines, Chile, Mexico, and Zambia.
Power Metallic CEO Terry Lynch says the company is pleased to welcome Beal to the team.
“He is joining as VP Operations with his focus on being the major figure responsible for completing with the team first our upcoming PEA (Preliminary Economic Assessment) and then a Feasibility Study on Nisk,” Lynch says.
“The expectations are for Chris to spend about half his time in this role and that towards the end of the year or early 2027 he would come on board full time and at that time become our COO.
“We sincerely believe Nisk has the potential to become a robust new mine and that these studies will de-risk and eventually lead to a positive development decision.”
Power Metallic is a Canadian exploration company focused on advancing the Nisk Project Area towards development as Canada’s next polymetallic mine.
