Talladega Seven to Host Second Annual Driving Futures Golf Tournament in Oxford

OXFORD, AL — The Talladega Seven Nonprofit Organization will host its second annual C2G Driving Futures Golf Tournament on Friday, Aug. 28, at Cider Ridge Golf Club in Oxford.
The tournament will begin with an 8 a.m. tee time and will feature an 18-hole, four-person scramble. Registration is $100 per golfer or $400 for a foursome, with brunch included for participants.
Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Talladega High School Commitment to Graduate, or C2G, Program. The program provides resources and support for students in areas including ACT preparation, mentoring, tutoring, leadership development, college and career readiness, and graduation encouragement initiatives.
In addition to tournament play, the event is scheduled to include hole-in-one opportunities, longest drive, closest-to-the-pin and longest putt contests. Door prizes and an awards ceremony are also planned.
Organizers say the tournament is designed to combine fundraising for student initiatives with opportunities for community members, businesses and local leaders to connect.
Sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses and organizations interested in supporting the tournament and the C2G program.
The tournament will be held at Cider Ridge Golf Club, located at 200 Apple Blossom Way in Oxford.
Those interested in registering a team or receiving sponsorship information can contact Talladega Seven President Paul Chatman at 256-401-7002.
