Here’s what CNBC TV’s producers were watching as the S & P 500 closed above 7,700 for the first time, and what’s on the radar for the next session. The run The Dow Industrials hit a high Tuesday. It is up 3% week to date and up 12.5% year to date. The NYSE Composite hit a high Tuesday. It is up 11% year to date. The S & P 500 hit a high Tuesday. It is up 3.3% in two days, and it’s up 13% year to date. The Russell 2000 is down 0.3% from the high. It’s up 22% year to date. The Nasdaq Composite is off 2.2% from the high. The Nasdaq-100 is 3.3% from the high. The S & P Financials and Industrials also hit new highs. Market coverage continues bright and early on ” Morning Call ” with Morgan Brennan at 5 a.m.ET. .DJI 5D mountain Dow Industrials in the past five trading days SpaceX CNBC TV’s Morgan Brennan will continue leading CNBC’s coverage of SpaceX ‘s earnings on “Morning Call.” The stock picked up 9% before the earnings release Tuesday afternoon. Shares dropped after hours. There are lot of ups and downs here. The stock hit a high of $225.64 several days after the IPO, but has dropped 44% since. Revenue was higher than expected at $7.81 billion dollars, and SpaceX posted a loss of 9 cents a share. Revenue also nearly doubled from a year earlier. During the call Elon Musk said, “It’s not out of the question that, at some point, Starlink will deliver a majority of the world’s internet, at least in countries where we are allowed to operate, which is the vast majority of countries.” He thinks that could happen in the next 10 years. Musk also announced SpaceX plans to build its AI data centers using Nvidia chips only. Big before the bell earnings on ‘Squawk Box’ Eli Lilly is up 15% in three months. Shares are down 10% from the July 7 high. The stock is up almost 4% so far year to date. CEO David Ricks joins the ” Squawk Box ” team in the 7 a.m. hour. We’ll find out if his company was able to deliver a dose of good numbers. Walt Disney is slated to report as well. The stock is down 3% in three months, and it’s off 18% from the September 2025 high. Shares are down almost 14% in 2026. CNBC TV’s Julia Boorstin covers the company and will have the full details Wednesday. M-I-C’ya tomorrow morning. DIS 3M mountain Disney in three months Big after the bell earnings on ‘Closing Bell: Overtime’ Block will report. The stock hit a new high on Tuesday. Shares are up around 18% in three months. The stock hit a low in February but is up 75% since then. AMD CEO Lisa Su will be live in the 9 a.m. hour of ” Squawk on the Street ” Wednesday. The stock is down 11% from the high hit on June 30. Shares have gained almost 52% in three months. The stock is up 142% so far in 2026. Artificial intelligence, data centers, chips in the U.S.: It’s all on “Squawk on the Street” with Carl Quintanilla, Sara Eisen, David Faber and Jim Cramer. AMD YTD mountain AMD in 2026 ADP jobs report The numbers comes out live on “Squawk Box” at 8:15 a.m. The Dow Jones consensus estimate is for 75,000 private payroll jobs. There is a market for this data release on the prediction market site Kalshi. Right now, 40% of those putting money on it think the number will come in over 75,000. The real number will be featured live on “Squawk Box” with Becky Quick, Joe Kernen and Andrew Ross Sorkin.
